Here we are, March 13th already. We have been through a lot - and that's putting it mildly.
We are both still alive and kicking, both dogs are happy, so guess we are doing OK.
Here's a little recap of live in the RV so far - -
February 8, 2021
We arrived at Harmony RV Park, Big Sandy, TX, and we were welcomed by friends and owners, Gene and Linda Burks and Sandy Lowe.
Dave backed the RV into it's spot like a pro!
We went to the house and got more items to put in the RV - still room for more!

Well, it has turned very cold. Winter Storm Warning! Filled propane tanks and we are ready to ride out the storm. Not exactly what I had in mind for full-time RV living. Church services are online only today due to weather.
dogs are comfy in front of the fireplace.
It does add a nice touch to the place and produces heat as well.

OK, it's pretty.
That's all I can say. Who would have thought we would be in our new RV for the Storm of the Century?
We are blessed to have electricity and water. Many people in Texas do not.
Both the RV and the house are doing well.
Feb 20, 2021
Still snow everywhere! Finally made it above freezing yesterday so this should all start to melt soon. Grocery store was pretty bare today. Luckily, we have a good supply on hand and Mama Pearl's Harmony Market is just across the way from the RV.

Estate Sale is being set up. Lender on the house is asking for an appraiser to go look at house again since the state has been declared a disaster . . . . one more hurdle to get over.
I'm ready to be in Livingston and be true full-time RV people.
March 9, 2021
Finally, headed to Livingston. House did not close on time, but here we go. Will have to return for closing.
Have you ever turned a travel trailer into a gas station, got over-whelmed and then made a couple of bad choices which led you into a gas pump? Well, Dave has. Yes, our new RV now has it's first blemish.
Did we handle it well? NO!
Finally made it to Livingston. Barely speaking and many tears later.
Home for the next month.
March 10, 2021
Drive back to Gilmer and close on house. Not a bad day. Much better than yesterday! No tears and we're speaking again.
Our little place all lit up at night.
Peaceful and comfortable.

Livingston Trade Days
a bit of fun and shopping
That's a recap. I'm not a good writer of photographer, but we'll try to do this more often.
Until next time - stay safe and love one another!
